Tennis

Our seven tennis courts are wonderful for a quick social game or for some friendly competition.

Special Events and Junior & Adult Clinics are held throughout the summer. Tennis teams are also formed to compete in inter-club tournaments with other district clubs. Our Tennis Professional, Ferdinand Redelijk, is available for group and individual lessons to improve your game. Our ball machine and practice board can be utilized to get some additional practice in. Within the Tennis Pro Shop you can get advice on new tennis equipment, get your racquet restrung, get a quick snack & refreshing beverage or relax on the shaded deck which overlooks both the upper, hard surface Courts and lower, HarTru Clay Courts.

Pro arranges doubles & singles matches; 
coffee & breakfast available. Suitable for all ability levels.

Ladies Burn Baby, Burn
Drills to help increase recognition & response and achieve an
intense workout. Suitable for entry level 3.0 & up.
 Saturdays           10:00am - 11:30am          
I Haven't Played Tennis In Years
Review the shots and practices the changes with the ball machine.
Suitable for beginner & intermediate players.     
 Tuesdays 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Pro Drill
Work the drills that the pros do. Designed for super-advanced players.         
 Saturdays 8:30am - 10:00am
Club Tennis
Enjoy play & comaraderie. Pro will arrange doubles, mixed-doubles
and singles. Suitable for all ability levels. Friends welcome.		 Tuesdays 6:00pm - 8:00pm

We do not cancel any clinics on the base of size. Cost will be pro-rated for all clinics if less than 8. 24 hour cancellation policy in effect.

TENNIS SERVICES

  • Hitting Partner—Our staff is available for your practice needs.

  • Ball Machine - Available as a practice tool Memorial Day - Labor Day by texting or calling Ferdy at (321) 438-9875.

  • Backboard & Rebound Net — An excellent tool for warm-up and practice. The backboard is located at the end of the top court & the rebound net is located on court 2.

  • Stringing Service—On-site racquet restringing available within 24 hours.

  • Merchandise Orders—Full selection of adult and junior merchandise available to order.

  • Social Events - Tennis Twilight, Mother-Child Championship, Pickleball, "Dubbles" with Bubbles and more!

JUNIOR TENNIS

The following tennis clinics are available starting Thursday, May 30th through Sunday, September 1st.

  • Junior Interclub Tennis League - Compete against other clubs throughout the summer!

  • Tennis in Holland—Every other year Ferdy takes eight teens (14 & over) to Holland (his homeland) for Tennis and Sightseeing - stay tuned for the next trip announcement!

  • Mother-Child Championship - Annual event for moms and their kids!

and hand-eye coordination in a fun and positive atmosphere.

Drills & match play. Designed to help students develop all of the basic     
strokes of tennis as well as students acquiring good techniques and
consistency. Competitive play will also be introduced.
